HORIZON LINE

The horizon line is a
horizontal line where water
or land seems to end
and the sky begins.

The horizon line is usually
at the viewer's eye level.

In the top picture, the sun appears to be coming out of the horizon line.  In the other picture, the horizon line is at the bottom of the mountains.
