ROOM 221

Room 221 created pictures of Matthew Henson.  Matthew Henson along with his exploring partner were the first two people to reach the North Pole.  Henson was also the first African American to reach the North Pole.

Room 221 created their pictures using the collage technique.  They added cotton balls to his coat to make it look like Henson's fur  coat.  These beautiful pictures are located outside of the NSCC office.
